For some reason, I had no idea the nuclear enabled nations of the world did so much actual testing of nuclear weapons during and after the cold war.  The following video hauntingly demonstrates in a WarGames-esque style just how many nuclear detonations the planet has endured.  We’re all very lucky that only 2 of these 2053 nuclear explosions were used offensively in war.
