Amazing Views of Shuttle Atlantis Launch

A plane ticket to Cape Canaveral to watch one of the few remaining space shuttle launches is expensive.  Watching the shuttle take flight from every conceivable angle on YouTube in high definition isn’t.  Ever since NASA started outfitting the shuttle with cameras to record various external views during launch, amazing video-graphic views like this have become common.  But this compilation from the most recent (and likely last) launch of Atlantis is especially well done.  The uniqueness of the footage is simply amazing.  It’s especially impressive watching a first person view of the solid rocket boosters falling into the ocean at the 6:30 mark.  As for the soundtrack, well you can decide about that…
