Best Buy recently began selling the Insignia Little Buddy Child Tracker, a $99 GPS enabled tracking device that parents can secretly place on their child.  Then, by simply logging onto the Internet, parents can watch in near real time the current geographic location of their child conveniently overlaid onto a map.  Locations and waypoints can be set to ensure the child makes it to a destination on time.  While other service details are sketchy, the Little Buddy offers a discrete solution to those seeking a little more “information” about their kids.
