Another eBook reader was announced today. This one, from Barnes & Noble, seems very promising and joins readers from Sony, Amazon, Asus, and IREX in a struggle for the eyes of readers across the country. The Barnes & Noble “Nook” has several unique features, including a 3.5″ touchscreen below the eInk reading area and the ability to lend eBooks to friends. Check out the chart here for a great comparison of the Nook’s features with the market leading Amazon Kindle. Scheduled for release at the end of November, the Nook will have an MSRP of $260. So polish up those reading glasses, clear your schedule, and spend some time with a good book on the new Nook.
